Hi! My name is Mary Gregory. I currently teach three Freshman Seminar English classes. I hope to leave this conference with a profound confidence in implementing technology in my English classroom.

Tomorrow afternoon we'll know.

Here is my wiki link. Yay! http://marygregory.wikispaces.com/-ELA lesson plan included on The Friends.

Reflection: I attended the icue and google lit trips session. In night grade English, I teach Homer's "The Odyssey." On googlelittrips.com, I was able to download a map of Odysseus's journey home after the Trojan War. Each place was accompanied with an explanation. This tool would be wonderful as a pre-reading activity to engage my students in the epic poem. Icue was also a neat tool that I can use as a bellwork activity or free day activity. The students are able to explore information through games, videos, and online texts. Icue would also be a great mini-lesson tool to engage students because it houses short, yet fun activities for building background knowledge.
